“I have always enjoyed working with wood and find carving both relaxing and enjoyable.”

Ray has been a woodcarver for over 30 years. A member of the Mystic Woodcarvers and past club president, he has been awarded several best of show awards and first place ribbons. He volunteers every week at Enders Island in Mystic as a woodcarver, along with a couple of other carvers, carving religious items for the island. He enjoys carving shore birds along with other animals.
