Dominic Moriarty

Dominic Moriarty is a fine art photographer based in Ireland. His works are primarily “Irish themed” landscapes and still life. Dominic uses handmade textures in all his pieces to give a vintage/painterly feel to the finished work and to add emotive content. All textures used are his own creations and are layered and blended with the original images during post-processing.

He likes to look on his work as “emotional snapshots” that attempt to capture the essence of a moment. “We look with our eyes but see with our souls.”  Dominic has been taking photos for well over 30 years now, from analogue right up to current digital mediums and his former “hobby” has been a  profession for the past 10 of those years.
